Experienced Teaching. Personalized Learning.
Master’s-Level • Certified • Experienced • Personalized• Student-Focused
With a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English and Health Education, your child will receive instruction from an experienced, highly qualified educator who understands that no two students learn exactly the same way.
Her teaching certifications include English, Elementary Education (Grades 1–8), and Secondary Education (Grades 6–12), along with experience as a School Librarian. This broad educational background allows her to support students across grade levels—from young learners developing foundational skills to middle and high school students tackling more advanced coursework.
Tutoring is individualized to meet each student where they are. Whether a child is struggling to catch up, needs help understanding current classroom material, or wants to strengthen existing skills, instruction is adjusted to the student’s pace, learning style, and goals.
Support may include reading and reading comprehension, phonics and foundational literacy, spelling, vocabulary development, grammar, writing, sentence and paragraph structure, composition, literature, English/ELAR, study and organizational skills, and elementary through 8th-grade math.
She also understands that sometimes the challenge isn’t a lack of ability—it’s attention, confidence, frustration, organization, rushing, or finding a way of learning that finally makes sense. Sessions provide patient, structured support to help students work through difficult concepts, strengthen skills, develop effective learning strategies, and become more confident and independent learners.
The goal isn’t simply to finish an assignment. It’s to help students understand what they’re learning and build skills they can carry with them.
